Synopsis
well among all the modern era indian writers , this writers is said to be in the frontline and is well known for is earlier novel "The Glass Palace". "The Hungry Tide" is his latest one, set up in the backdrop of Sundar bans, this novel paints the lives of the people of the tide country, 'bhatir desh' as writer says it to be.
The flow of the novel is smooth, in a single pace from page 1 to page 410, their are moments when it grips but overall it goes on with a constant speed.It tells much about cetamology but it is about the lives of the delta people, around which this novel has been interwoven. A good read.
